    Officers responded to a report of an injury accident near the intersection of Juliette Ave and Fort Riley Blvd in Manhattan on April 10, 2019, at approximately 12:30 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2012 Volkswagon Jetta driven by Mark Kukuk, 28 of Manhattan had struck a 2016 Dodge R15 driven by George Widenor, 77 of Manhattan and a 2014 Ford Edge driven by Roy Head, 82 of Manhattan. Minor injuries were reported. Kukuk was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

    Officers responded to a report of an injury accident near the intersection of Kimball Ave and Anderson Ave in Manhattan on April 10, 2019, at approximately 2:20 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2015 Mack truck driven by Michael Huffman, 45 of Leonardville had overturned and collided with a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Joshua Hendry, 32 of Manhattan. Huffman was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Huffman was issued a citation for driving too fast for conditions.

    Shiela Huffman, 37 of Manhattan was arrested in the 200 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd in Manhattan on April 11, 2019, at approximately 1:20 AM. Huffman was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Huffman was issued no bond, causing her to remain confined at the time of this report.
