Manhattan High tennis won their regional and qualified all six players for the 6A state tournament last week. Dan Harkin won his second straight singles regional title. That capped off a week that also saw Harkin win the Centennial League title and earn Centennial League player of the year honors. This season Harkin has an overall record of 26-1 heading into the state tournament. Harkin finished 4th last year at state – the highest finish for an Indian since 1992. Congratulations to Dan Harkin of Manhattan High School, the Powercat Sports Grill/KMAN “Student Athlete of the Week!”
