    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1000 block of Hostetler Dr. in Manhattan on September 19, 2019, at approximately 1:10 PM. Officers listed Firestone as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect took money from the business. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,663.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 400 block of S 5th St. in Manhattan on September 19, 2019, at approximately 3:25 PM. Officers listed 48-year-old female as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect damaged her Grey Mercury Milan 206 window and tail light. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $900.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the 700 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan on September 19, 2019, at approximately 4:55 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a white Impala and a red SUV had crashed. One driver, Carol Klataske, was issued a citation for following too close. The second driver, Lawrence Carroll was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries.
