    Thursday’s program included a preview of Retiree Appreciation Day at Fort Riley with retired Colonel C. Kay Hutchinson and Jerri McBride, Public Health Department, Irwin Army Community Hospital. The event is scheduled Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riley’s Conference Center.

    Ghostess Tricia Verschage with the Historical and Archaeological Society of Fort Riley previewed the 23rd annual ghost tours coming up Oct. 26.

    Manhattan Catholic Schools Principal Scott Hulshoff and Flint Hills Christian Schools Principal Josh Snyder joined us for an update on activities going on at their respective schools also.
