By KMAN Staff on November 12, 2019 Local News, Manhattan

A date for a preliminary hearing has been set for Manhattan restaurant owner Robert Iacobellis, who is currently facing 130 charges of sex-related crimes.

The hearing will take place over the course of two days, going from 10 a.m. til 5 p.m. on January 9th and from 9 a.m. til 5 p.m. on January 10th.

Iacobellis’s defense team, currently made up of two attorneys, will be in court on December 3rd at 1 p.m. for a status hearing as they claim they haven’t received all of the information they need in order to do their job.

Iacobellis was arrested on August 2nd and is currently being charged with one count of rape, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of aggravated indecent solicitation and 125 counts of aggravated indecent liberties involving three victims.

He is in jail on a $500,000 bond.
