MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal threat in the 2200 block of College Heights in Manhattan on February 28, 2020, at approximately 7:50 AM. Officers listed a 17-year-old male as the victim when he reported a known 17-year-old suspect made threatening statements over the phone and text. Khamon Lowry, 17, of Manhattan was arrested in connection on an offense of aggravated criminal threat. Lowry was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 1000 block of Sycamore Ln. in Manhattan on February 28, 2020, at approximately 7:40 PM. Officers listed an 87-year-old male as the victim when he reported a known 44-year-old female borrowed his 2019 Ford Fusion and didn’t return it. The vehicle was later recovered in Salina.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1700 block of Laramie St. in Manhattan on February 29, 2020, at approximately 11:25 AM. Officers listed a 19-year-old male as the victim when he reported 3 of his tires on his vehicle were damaged. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $750.00.
