K-State and Wichita State University are partnering up to offer a new satellite nursing program.
The five-year program allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Science from the K-State College of Health and Human Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Wichita State’s College of Health Professions.
Students will spend the first three years at K-State and then apply to spend the next two years in Wichita State nursing program.
Wichita State will begin taking students into it’s program beginning in Fall of 2021 and will take on up to 20 new students each semester.
The program is the only one of its kind in Kansas.
