    Man dies after suffering self-inflicted stab wound in local restaurant

    The Riley County Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing inside Powercat Sports Grill at about 9 p.m. Friday.

    Officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from what was later revealed by an investigation to be a self-inflicted stab wound.

    He was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan where he later died.

    The victim’s name was not released.
