WICHITA, Kan. — An off-duty Wichita police officer has been arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.
The Wichita Police Department said in a news release that officer Cory Masterson has been with the department for 12 years and was assigned to the field services division. Police say he has been moved to an administrative assignment.
The case is being investigated by the Kansas Highway Patrol, and an internal review will also take place .
