WICHITA, Kan. — Wichita police say an 80-year-old man died after being hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Police say James Kaminksy died Tuesday evening. They say Kaminksy was crossing a road to his house when he was hit. He died later at a hospital. The driver of a white pickup truck fled. Police say a person of interest has been identified.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the death.
