A Manhattan structure fire resulted in about $30,000 in damages Sunday evening.
The Manhattan Fire Department responded to 2030 College Heights at 6:50 p.m. Sunday in response to a report of a structure fire.
Crews arrived to the one-story residential structure, reportedly owned by Mark and Jayne Lund of Green, KS, to find smoke coming from the attic.
The 17 fire fighters and six fire apparatuses that reported to the incident were able to contain the fire within about 20 minutes.
While the occupants were displaced from the home, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was reportedly due to an electrical malfunction.
Total losses are estimated to be about $20,000 to the structure and $10,000 in contents.
