WICHITA, Kan. — A 32-year-old man is in custody after a child died in a hit-and-run in Wichita.
Police arrested Marcus Downey Monday on potential charges of felony hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license. The 4-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck when he and his mother were crossing a street in downtown Wichita Monday morning. He died at a Wichita hospital. Capt.
