KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police say a woman was killed inside a Kansas City, Kansas, apartment over the weekend, and a person suspected of killing her was later arrested.
Police say officers were called around 5 p.m. Sunday to the complex in the city’s Riverview neighborhood, where they found a woman dead inside an apartment. Investigators say a suspect had fled the area on foot and was found and arrested a short time later.
Police had not identified the victim or the suspect by Monday and had not given other details about how the woman died.
