WICHITA, Kan. — Police in Wichita are investigating separate shootings that happened over the weekend and wounded four people.

Police say the first shooting happened Friday night in central Wichita, when a man was shot as he stepped out of his vehicle. The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Late Sunday night, police were called to a neighborhood in east Wichita for a shooting and found two men with gunshot wounds. The men were taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police say a woman was later brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound from the same shooting scene.

A suspect has been arrested in Sunday’s shooting.
