    The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.     MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 1000 block of Fremont St. in Manhattan on October 1, 2021, around 5:46 p.m. Officers listed 28- and 59-year-old females as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect stole a Sony television, cash and a backpack from their home containing multiple medications. The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $1,350. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of Pierre St. in Manhattan on October 2, 2021, around 10:26 a.m. Officers listed a 30-year-old male and a 47-year-old female as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect “keyed” their cars overnight.
