Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near mile marker 5 on N. Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan on October 4, 2021, around 4:32 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2003 Honda CBR6 motorcycle driven by Gage Newton, 26, of Junction City that was headed northbound and had lost control and crashed into the side of the road. Newton was transported to Via Christi for treatment of a broken leg.
