KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police say one person died and two others were injured when a vehicle hit two pedestrians and crashed into a Walmart at a Kansas City, Kansas shopping plaza.
Police spokeswoman Nancy Chartrand says the crash occurred Thursday afternoon in the Legends Outlet mall. Three people, including the driver, were taken to hospitals. One of the pedestrians later died.
Chartrand says investigators believe the crash was accidental and might have occurred when the driver suffered a medical emergency.
