WICHITA, Kan. — Police have arrested a man suspected in the deadly shooting last month of another man outside a southeast Wichita restaurant.

Television station KAKE reports that 43-year-old Marshall Green Jr. was arrested Thursday on suspicion of intentional second-degree murder in the Nov. 10 shooting death of 45-year-old Monzell Brocks. Police say Brocks was shot around 2:30 a.m. outside a Denny’s restaurant, where he worked. Green is being held in the Sedwick County Jail without bond.

Online records show Green has prior convictions and served prison terms for aggravated battery and voluntary manslaughter in Sedgwick County.
