MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary, use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant in the 400 block of Walters Dr. in Manhattan on December 20, 2021, around 12:02 p.m. Officers listed 0- and 23-year-old females and a 45-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a 34-year-old male entered their occupied residence without permission and stole a blanket. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $25. Jonathan Maraman, 34, of Manhattan was arrested in connection for aggravated burglary, possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, and use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Maraman is currently confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $15,000.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 1400 block of Cambridge Pl. in Manhattan on December 20, 2021, around 4:39 p.m. Officers listed 20- and 24-year-old males and 18- and 19-year-old females as the victims when it was reported an 18-year-old female and 19- 24-year-old male suspects engaged them in a fight. There were no injuries reported.
