On Monday’s edition of In Focus, we were joined by Sunset Zoo Marketing and Development Officer Melissa Kirkwood. She discussed the zoo’s change to Spring hours in April, the upcoming grand opening of Sunset Zoo’s new Expedition Asia, as well as a recent surgery to restore sight to 29-year-old Mangalisa — a Colobus monkey resident to Sunset.

We were also joined by Krystin Guggisberg and Rachel Pate to preview this Saturday’s Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Kansas. The event is coming up on Saturday, March 26, and this year’s theme for the costume contest is #PolarOpposites.
