MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated arson and criminal damage to property in the 2200 block of College Ave on March 17, 2022, around 4:18 a.m. Officers listed a 35-year-old male as the suspect when it was reported a fire was started inside an apartment at the Gramercy Apartments. The total estimated loss has been increased to $10,000 to the structure and $1,000 to contents according to the Manhattan Fire Department (MFD). Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 1400 block of Cambridge Pl. in Manhattan on March 17, 2022, around 5:35 p.m. Officers listed a 26-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a 30-year-old male suspect threatened him with a gun. Mohamed Adbelmalik Dafalla, 30, of Ogden was arrested in connection for aggravated assault. Dafalla is currently confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $10,000.
Officers filed a report for theft in the 5400 block of Haddon Ct. in Manhattan on March 17, 2022, around 8:30 p.m. Officers listed USAA as the victim when it was reported an unknown female suspect transferred $1,000 out of a bank account without permission.
