    Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jason Smith was Thursday’s guest for In Focus.

    Smith spoke about the recent announcement regarding Scorpion Biological Services, Inc.’s planned facility in Pottawatomie County, the work by the Chamber and local officials to secure the project, and what it means for the local economy and avenues being explored to address housing needs.

    Smith also discussed the numerous ribbon cuttings his organization has been involved in around the community as well as Chamber initiatives such as the HYPE young professional group and the kick-off of the Senior Executives Engaged program.

    Friday’s In Focus will feature guests from Riley County Police for their monthly update with KMAN.
