The second segment welcomed Planning and Development Director Amanda Webb to discuss a new battery recycling program the county is looking to spread awareness of in light of increases in fires in waste haulers stemming from disposed batteries.

The program closed in the latter half with Commission Chair Greg McKinley. He discussed what he saw of Saturday’s storms and in the final segment talked about the beginning of budget season and recent county hires.
