Thursday’s edition of In Focus featured guests from the National Bio and Agro Defense Facility, Manhattan Special Olympics and Governor’s Military Council Exec. Dir. Perry Wiggins.

NBAF Deputy Director Dr. Ken Burton, Communications Director Katie Pawlosky and NBAF Attending Veterinarian and Animal Resource Unit Lead Dr. Maggie Behnke joined the show for the first two segments. The trio talked about the ARU’s job at the installation, when animals will begin entering the facility, as well as the next steps for NBAF now that construction is complete.

Brandon Peoples also got a chance to check in with Manhattan Special Olympics in advance of their trip to Orlando, Florida.

The show closed in the last segment with KMAN’s regular visit with Perry Wiggins, fresh off a call with Gov. Kelly.
