Ogden home total loss following Tuesday fire

By KMAN Staff on June 7, 2022 Local News, Riley County

An Ogden mobile home is a complete loss following a Tuesday morning structure fire.

Multiple firefighters from Riley County Fire District No. 1 and the Manhattan Fire Department were paged out shortly before 6 a.m. to 530 Pine Alley in Ogden. Upon arrival, the unoccupied home was fully engulfed in flames. The City of Ogden assisted with heavy equipment to pull the roof off the building, which eventually collapsed.

    No injuries were reported.

The cause is undetermined, but officials have said lightning may have been a contributing factor. (Photos courtesy Riley County Fire District No. 1)
