A young man was robbed at gunpoint before he and a woman were shot at in Manhattan Thursday afternoon.

Riley County Police say the crime occurred in the 20 block of Waterway Place, in the Countryside Mobile Home Parks in Manhattan’s Northview neighborhood.

According to the police report, a 17-year-old male victim was stuck up at gunpoint by two male suspects aged 15 and 18. The two took the victim’s iPhone, and then shot at him as well as a 45-year-old woman in their car as they attempted to follow the suspects while fleeing the scene.

No injuries were reported by either of the victims. Police officials Friday say an investigation is actively ongoing.
