On Thursday’s edition of In Focus we spoke with Associate Professor and Director of the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy at Kansas State University Dr. Colene Lind & Donna Schenck-Hamlin who leads ICDD’s Community Partnerships. The ICDD has recently had a change in leadership, and the duo discussed their aims looking forward as well as the role their work has in the community.

We also spoke with Pawnee Mental Health Executive Director Robbin Cole. She talked about the new 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline as well as the recently passed bipartisan Safer Communities Act. She ended by highlighting Recovery Month in September and a yard sale Pawnee has planned in Junction City this weekend.
