MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the 3300 block of Robinson Dr. in Manhattan on September 20, 2022, around 10:00 a.m. 15- and 16-year-old males were listed as both the victims and suspects when it was reported a past fight between the two resulted in a broken nose and other facial injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
Eladio Alvarez, 43, of Manhattan was arrested in the 1600 block of Pierre St. in Manhattan on September 20, 2022, around 10:15 p.m. for possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a nonvalid license plate and found meth and paraphernalia in the car. Alvarez remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $10,000.
