Thursday’s edition of In Focus featured guests from Fort Riley and the Manhattan Housing Authority.

The second segment previewed the Historical and Archaeological Society of Fort Riley’s Tour of Homes with HASFR Vice President Melissa Yerman.

The latter half of the show featured MHA Executive Director Aaron Estabrook and Housing MHK Chair Scott Seel. The two talked progress on a pre-development agreement related to the organization’s Downtown affordable senior housing project as well as housing needs highlighted by Manhattan’s recent housing study. The program closed with a conversation about the VA Supportive Housing program to support homeless veterans as well as how Afghan refugees are fairing in Manhattan.
