Friday’s edition of In Focus featured guests from Riley County Research and Extension, the Riley County Seniors Service Center and the Manhattan Optimist Club.
Extension Horticulture Agent Gregg Eyestone opened the program, discussing the Extension Master Gardener graduation happening Friday night as well as some tips for fall gardening.
In segment 2, Riley County Seniors Service Center Director Liz Nelson highlighted the center’s Friendship Meals program as well as Nov. 18’s Thanksgiving meal at the Center.
We then visited with Manhattan Optimist Club member Jim Franke about the Optimist Christmas tree sale fundraiser that begins Thanksgiving Day in Optimist Park.
