Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the 2100 block of Poyntz Ave. at Manhattan High School on November 15, 2022, around 12:30 p.m. A 16-year-old girl was listed as the victim when it was reported a 16-year-old suspect choked her with a phone cord. Siley Thomas, 16, of Manhattan was arrested in connection for aggravated battery. They were processed through juvenile intake and released to a guardian.
