MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on November 16, 2022, around 2:30 p.m. A 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 20-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.
Officers responded to a business alarm at Casey’s in the 300 block of Riley Ave. in Ogden on November 17, 2022, around 2:00 a.m. When they arrived on scene, they found a window of the business broken out and a 16-year-old male suspect inside the building. The suspect then ran from the officers north on N. Park St. Following a short search by officers and an RCPD K9, Estevan Rochin, 16, of Ogden was later located in the 200 block of 16th St and arrested for burglary, interference with LEO, and criminal damage to property. Rochin was processed by juvenile intake and released to a guardian. The estimated total loss associated with this case is still under investigation.
