The Manhattan High boys basketball team moved to 3-1 on the season with a 60-44 win over Hays last night, as Jack Wilson led three players in double figures with 20 points. Coach Benji George says his team’s defensive effort made the offense better.

Aaron Newcomer scored 14, Collins Elumogo 12 in the win for the Indians.

The Manhattan girls saw Hays hit nine three pointers en route to a 56-47 decision. Destiny Yates scored 16 and Avery Larson 15 for the Tribe, who fell to 1-3.
