On Tuesday’s edition of In Focus, we sat down with Riley County Commissioner John Ford and Public Information Officer Vivienne Uccello looked back on events that made headlines in Riley County in 2022.
In segment 1, we discussed how the year began with a COVID surge and ended with a triple threat of COVID, influenza and RSV cases locally. In segment 2, we discussed some of the natural disasters that took place in Riley County, from wildfires to severe weather. In segment 3, we spoke on current projects including the EMS headquarters and eventual relocation of the Emergency Operations Center. In segment 4, we visited about the elections and importance of communicating the importance to vote.
