A Manhattan man who served time in prison is now confined in the Riley County Jail on a warrant charging him with burglary and theft of multiple firearms.
According to RCPD, 24-year-old Brandon Welty was arrested Tuesday after being transported from the Lansing Correction Facility to Riley County. The warrant stems from a February 2022 incident north of Leonardville where 13 guns and other miscellaneous items were reported stolen from a home.
Police list two adult men as the victims in the case.
Welty remains jailed on a total bond of $25,000.
