    Segment 4 – 34:56

On Friday’s edition of In Focus, Riley County Police Department Director Brian Peete, Riley County Attorney Barry Wilkerson and Crisis Center Inc. Executive Director Kathy Ray joined us in studio.

Our discussion centered around sexual assault awareness month, which is in April and local initiatives aimed at helping victims.

We also spoke about a Dark Web training event coming up in May at the Manhattan Fire Department Headquarters.

Car burglaries have seen an uptick in Riley County since early February and we spoke to ways residents can thwart off would-be thieves.

We also spoke to RCPD’s Intelligence-Led Policing efforts.
