A 16-year-old suspect was arrested Monday following an incident at the Manhattan Sonic on Anderson Ave.

According to the Riley County Police Department, three women were in the Sonic parking lot around 7:30 p.m. when Cedric Swinson allegedly pointed a gun at them.

When officers arrived, Swinson ran but was followed by officers across Westport Place into the Walgreens parking lot then across Garden Way. He was eventually apprehended in the Evergreen Apartments parking lot.

Swinson was charged three counts of aggravated assault and one count of interference.

He was processed through juvenile intake and released to a guardian.
