Officers filed a report for attempted theft and forgery in the 2600 block of Anderson in Manhattan on March 17, 2023, around 9:00 a.m. Kansas State Federal Credit Union and a 68-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported 47- and 53-year-old men attempted to cash fraudulent checks worth approximately $4,000 at the bank.
