    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 700 block of S. 6th St. in Manhattan on April 5, 2023, around 10:00 a.m. A&H Auto Repair was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect had made fraudulent charges to the business checking account over the course of approximately 6 months. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $4,500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for forgery and theft by deception in the 500 block of Poytnz Ave. in Manhattan on April 5, 2023, around 3:00 p.m. MH Development and Kansas State Bank were listed as the victims when it was reported 48- and 53-year-old men cashed two fraudulent checks totaling approximately $6,760.
