A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday on a Riley County warrant stemming from a February incident at a Manhattan apartment.

The Riley County Police Department says 28-year-old Edwin Gonzalez faces two charges of kidnapping including an aggravated count and one count of aggravated battery. Gonzalez and 29-year-old Cecilia Chavez, also of Manhattan, are accused of holding two men at an apartment in the 700 block of Allison Ave., while armed with a shotgun. The two also reportedly hit the men several times.

Gonzalez remains jailed on a $50,000 bond.

Chavez was arrested in connection to the case on Feb. 19.
