    Update 6/5/23 3:24 pm:

All four children were found safe in Topeka. Dontresha Shabree Thomas was taken into custody pending charges.

    Original Story 6/5/23 2:20 pm:

Four children from Topeka were abducted Monday and officials believe they are in immediate danger.

At around 1 p.m. the Topeka Police Department requested assistance from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation to locate Au’Vae Riley, Da’avian Riley Jr., Ty’rell Riley and Aunila Riley, who were all taken from their Topeka home by their mother Dontresha Shabree Thomas sometime after 10:30 a.m. Thomas’ statements to the children’s father indicated all were an imminent danger.

According to KBI, Thomas left from 2105 SE Swygart, traveling in an unknown direction. The suspect vehicle is a Silver 2009 GMC Acadia, with temporary Kansas tag C953627.

Thomas is 30-years-old. She is a black female, 5 ft. 1 in. tall, who weighs 110 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. Thomas was last wearing a white t-shirt and gray shorts.
Call 911 immediately if you have seen a missing child, suspect, or the suspect’s vehicle. If you have other information on a missing child, call 1-800-KS-CRIME or the Topeka Police Department at 785-368-9200.
