What: Little Apple Splash, a Dock Dogs Aquatics Competition — Wild Card

Where: Blue Earth Plaza

When: Big Air Wave #1 – 2 p.m., Big Air Wave #2 – 4 p.m., Big Air Wave #3 – 6 p.m.


What: Juneteenth Grilling Contest ($5 cost to sample)

Where: Manhattan City Park

When: 5 to 7 p.m.


What: Arts in the Park free concert

Where; Larry Norvell Band Shell at City Park

When: 8 p.m.

Who: Billboard chart topping, Grammy nominated Keith Washington


SATURDAY

What: Little Apple Splash, a Dock Dogs Aquatics Competition — Wild Card

Where: Blue Earth Plaza

When: Big Air Wave #4 – 9 a.m., Big Air Wave #5 – 11 a.m., Big Air Wave #6 – 1 p.m, Extreme Vertical Competition – 4 p.m.


What: Juneteenth Proclamation and Unity Walk

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Long’s Park (MLK Jr. Drive and Yuma Street)


What: Juneteenth Festival

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where; Douglass Activity Center and Douglass Park

Note: 8 a.m. – Free Sun-Up Yoga, 8:45 a.m. Mixxed Fit,, 9:25 a.m. Zumba in the Park


What: Arts in the Park

When: 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Manhattan City Park

Who: Kyla Jade (Season 14 contestant on NBC’s The Voice)


SUNDAY

What: Model T Ford Club of America opening ceremony

When: 5 p.m. (Participants only)

Where: Midwest Dream Car Collection

Note; Drivers will tour the Flint Hills through June 23, with visits to Alma, Alta Vista, Marysville, Abilene, Fort Riley and Wamego. A car show at City Park is planned June 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
