Manahttan’s Keenan Schartz led the West team to a 21-20 win over the East at the Kansas Shrine Bowl Saturday in Hays, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another. The Washburn-bound quarterback went 16-of-18 for 124 yards through the air and ran for another 19 yards on 10 carries, including a two-yard touchdown run that would prove to be the game winner in the third quarter. Wamego’s Ty Weber led the West with six tackles, including a half-tackle for loss.
