A Manhattan man was arrested Tuesday on several charges of child sex crimes.
According to the Riley County Police Department, the charges against 18-year-old Darryl Klemick are in connection to multiple incidents involving a now 16-year-old female, known to Klemick. The alleged incidents occurred between November 2022 and May 2023.
Klemick was already confined on previous charges when RCPD arrested him Tuesday on three counts of electronic solicitation, four counts each of sexual exploitation of a child and unlawful sexual relations, as well as five counts of unlawful voluntary sexual relations.
Klemick was issued a $150,000 bond on these charges and remains in the Riley County Jail.
