Officers filed a report for aggravated indecent liberties with a child on July 20, 2023, around 12:45 p.m. A 13-year-old female was listed as the victim and an unknown male was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 300 block of N. Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan on July 20, 2023, around 2:15 p.m. after Waters True Value reported a 35-year-old man rented a 25-inch Stihl chainsaw and did not return it. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $600. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Sarah Teener, 41, was arrested on July 20, 2023, around 5:00 p.m. on her Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear and Riley County District Court warrant, also for failure to appear. These warrants stem from original charges of theft and interference with law enforcement. Teener was issued a total bond of $7,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

Ashley Price, 22, of Junction City was arrested on July 20, 2023, around 9:15 p.m. after officers conducted a traffic stop on her car in the 3400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan and found her in possession of marijuana and pills suspected to contain fentanyl. Price was arrested for distribution of a narcotic, distribution of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Price remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $13,000.
