Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan on July 20, 2023, around 2:15 p.m. after Waters True Value reported a 35-year-old man rented a 25-inch Stihl chainsaw and did not return it. Sarah Teener, 41, was arrested on July 20, 2023, around 5:00 p.m. on her Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear and Riley County District Court warrant, also for failure to appear. These warrants stem from original charges of theft and interference with law enforcement. Teener was issued a total bond of $7,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
Ashley Price, 22, of Junction City was arrested on July 20, 2023, around 9:15 p.m. after officers conducted a traffic stop on her car in the 3400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan and found her in possession of marijuana and pills suspected to contain fentanyl. Price was arrested for distribution of a narcotic, distribution of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Price remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $13,000.
