Manhattan celebrated Stormont Vail Health’s new campus with a ribbon cutting Friday
CEO Dr. Robert Kenagy gave a little bit of history about the project and why it began.
Vice President and Regional Administrator for Stormont Vail Mary Martell thanked Radina’s for opening a new coffee shop in their lobby, noting it had already become a signature part of the Stormont experience.
Martell says the facility is fully operational, and has been since July. Next week will mark the start of normal operations. This building is an integrated facility that brings together all the services Stormont Vail previously had in Manhattan.
New services include an X-Ray department and endocrinologist, starting in September. Martell spoke about photographs seen throughout the facility.
The new facility is 79,000 square feet. It houses primary care, specialty care, lab, and imaging services. Nearly 5,700 employees provide care and support services.
