The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a domestic dispute Monday in the 7700 block of Junietta Road in Manhattan.
A deputy reportedly arrived on scene and made contact with a man and woman. After making contact, the man fled into a wooded area and the woman was detained. Officials from multiple law enforcement agencies searched for the man but were unable to locate him. He was later identified and the woman released after questioning.
Later investigation revealed a stolen truck and camper were found at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office says there is no danger to the public. They’re asking anyone with information to contact Captain Tyler Garver at 785-457-3353. Tips can also be left at ptsheriff.com.
