For the second time in less than a week, a police report was filed for criminal damage to property at a Manhattan school.
The Riley County Police Department says it took a report Monday at Bergman Elementary School after an unknown suspect damaged two fence gate doors and two metal security doors at the school. Damage is estimated at $5,000.
Police also noted a break-in at Manhattan High School Aug. 1 and are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in that incident.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
