An 18-year-old from Olathe was arrested this past weekend for a past Riley County warrant alleging rape.
The Riley County Police Department noted in its weekend arrest report that Kane Harris was jailed Sept. 7 on a warrant for rape and aggravated criminal sodomy, investigated by the K-State Police Department. Spokesperson Andrew Moeller tells KMAN the complaint was filed last September, alleging Harris raped a then 18-year-old female victim. The crime was alleged to have occurred in Riley County.
No further information has been provided.
