MHS girls won the Salina South Invitational Monday at Salina Municipal shooting a team total of 296. 296 is the lowest team total recorded in at least the last 41 years.
High school personal records (PR’s) were posted by 5 MHS players:
Freshman Maddie Myers placed 3rd in the tournament, shooting one over par, 71.
Three 75’s were shot by junior Emily Wuggazer and sophomores Kat Ball and Lily Bahr. The three tied for 4th place.
Wrenn Burton tied for 11th in the tournament, shooting 83.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Lagabed did not shoot a PR, but placed 9th, shooting a strong 82.
The team will play next Monday in the Centennial League Tournament in Emporia.
